Clouds over the Absarokas

Clouds over the Absarokas

First experiment with Fomatoner Sepia. The detail in the cloud highlights didn't quite make it back from the bleaching, so when printing again I would give this a bit more exposure to the upper portion of the print.

I like your shot and the toning works fine . But I would have preferred if the cloud formation had ended before it ran out on the RHS or the clouds covered the entire width of your photo. This is not a major critism, but I can't help but notice it.

Yes, I agree completely. Incidentally I uploaded a version of this print to Instagram the other day and I noticed the square format, which caused the clouds to span the entire width and brought the peak in the sunlight forward a bit more, focused the image. I'll try it like that soon I think.
