It's very magenta...obvious on two monitors and one smart phone. I'm guessing that's the processing or the post-processing, not the scan....unless some kind of odd filter is involved.
VDU = visual display unit i.e. the 21 inch screen on my desktop PC. Certainly a print which had 20 units of magenta more than it should when exposed on my Durst 605M would look much worse in a compatible and authentic scan than this transparency does
It is a pity that there are not more viewers of this picture commenting on its looks. That might help tell us whether they see this as being reasonably authentic in terms of rock colours, which it looks to be to me, or whether they see a pronounced magenta cast. In using the word "pronounced" I am assuming that 20+ M has an appreciable enough effect to make every viewer say that it has a clear magenta cast.
Currently all I can say is that cliff faces in the U.K. certainly exhibit quite intense colours so what I see looks like what I'd expect to see but we clearly see it differently. Such is life
