Cliff Beck

Cascades on Cliff Beck above Scarr House Farm waterfall, near Thwaite, Swaledale.

Slightly scary this, because to get the shot you have to stand on a tiny unfenced packhorse bridge no more than 2 feet or so wide about 6 feet above the raging torrent below ...!

Maybe dangerous, but look at the result!
The light, the water, movement.
I hear the water fall.

Very nice subject selection and framing. Great exposure and contrast control.

Wow, a gorgeous image, Richard.
It reminds me of Bride's Veil )
So you've got your darkroom up and running?

Yes, the darkroom is back at last, but very small! Thanks for all the positive comments; I've not used Delta 100 in DD-X (only one film before this one) and was very pleased with the results, having been a confirmed APX/Rodinal man for years. The highlight separation is particularly pleasing I think, and this image was remarkably easy to print.
