Despite the fact that the Collieries closed decades earlier the quarries extracted coal. (Owned by ARC)

Ironically the image was made while I was being photographed with my Wista for a magazine article, and I twisted the camera & made the image while posing with it :D

This is a really lovely image, Ian. The overall... light tonality... with the darker elements sort of floating within, particularly the tracks... very nice. I'm surprised to read the circumstances!
