Clear Lake

Forgive the scan, I know a great print lives in this negative. It was a nice moment, which I also captured on Xpan panoramic negs, too.

I loved Clear Lake when I was over there a few summers ago with my girlfriend, but there was that fast food joint where I ordered a hot dog (no other client in sight...) and it must have taken 15 mins for the kids to get their act together and stop pissing around to make it! Luckily, there was a great old fashioned ice cream stand nearby, so I drowned my sorry in flavourful sweet cold milk.

That's the gift of Clear Lake -- redemption, whether it's from the beautiful surroundings or from sweet, sweet ice cream.
