I came up with this idea shortly after New Years, and it took a few days to materialize. Clean slate is the idea that whenever, wherever, you have the ability to do something fundamental to change who you are. This isn't a New Year's resolution, it's an acknowledgement of a new perspective, or so I hope. Have a beautiful 2014 everyone, you have a Clean Slate.
It was done via intentional double exposure. The first exposure was about 20-25 seconds at F22 on a lined paper with the writing in diffuse daylight, and the second exposure was about 1/5th of a second at f4.5 during the evening (you can see the moon in the photo).I guess the long exposure on the paper essentially flashed it pretty powerfully, as it came out much lower in contrast than I was anticipating. I used Ilford Ortho Plus, which is usually pretty high contrast in Rodinal rated at ASA 100.This image is really growing on me though, and I do love the grittiness that resulted.
