Claverack Creek - untoned

A print from an earlier neg scan.

The town of Claverack (Dutch for "Clover reach" or field) was named by the explorer Henry Hudson and his crew while sailing through the area for the Dutch on his ship, the Half Moon in 1609.

The ADM smokestacks and power lines are later additions.

the rich deep tonality of this image just about has me drooling...the composition and light use are superb...just one beautifully done photograph.... I'm impressed Vic...

If I could just borrow that Holga to try out in my backyard....
