Classic Street Photographer

Interesting, I saw a camera like that in an antique shop in the Kemeralti, in Izmir, Turkey last year. Very colourful.

(Nea Smyrna in Athens is where the displaced Greeks from Smyrna/Izmir settled after 1923 I was there at Christmas)

Went shopping many times in Kemeralti during the two years we lived in Izmir. And I visit friends in Nea Smyrna frequently.

There's a lot of good things captured in this shot. I like the cigarette in the guy's mouth, the strong side light on the guy looking at you, and the the guy in the background has a terrific expression on his face.

TEX, appreciate the comments. The elements were sheer luck, as I'm sure you realize. I always had problems printing this one; deciding on how light or dark to make it. Ended up with a darker than normal (for me) rendition that seemed to fit the late afternoon light I remember at the time plus helped emphasize the highlight elements.
