right. thanks for the info. i shot each of the band members just like this with the others on either sides of the person in the middle. i was going to use it for their website. not sure. 'twas an experiment.

I'd try dodging the center guy's face to give him more emphasis. Then I think the other two would be fine.

i like crops like this, they move the composition beyond the borders of the frame and make me imagine what is not revealed. It suggests movement and the fleeting nature of time...this scene was not the same a moment before you clicked the shutter and would not be the same a moment after. Very apropos of musicians, i think. If anything, i would have included a bit less of the top and a bit more at the bottom. Regards: kat~
