I took these two photographs almost 40 years ago on a hunting trip to Northern Alberta. The pictures have all faded, and the negatives aren't in great shape either. The dog is Chinook, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. My first dog as an adult, and the toughest dog I've ever owned.
