Chinese Magnolia with Chinese Camera

Just a scan for now; darkroom is down for a few more months.

My 8x10 ground glass was used to diffuse the light over the flower... but maybe the other light spots are too distracting by comparison. I have higher hopes for the colour versions, which will be developed next week.

Thank you! Please do check back next week for the colour version though; I honestly didn't have b&w in mind when I set this up. This was just the version that I could develop quickly myself. What bugs me about this is that the hotspots away from the blossom have no tonal relationship to the flower itself and are thus essentially distracting. I think the colour version will be different.
