China Door

Taken almost as an afterthought while walking around the old town of Lijiang, in southwestern China.
I didn't think much of it first, but aftewards saw a lot of symbolism in how I saw and experienced China.

i think this is a really interesting blend of ancient and modern. i like it.
 
Terrific shot, the faces look so angry, is it becaused they are chained together?
