A very nice shot of a 12 pounder smooth bored bronze Napoleon canon probably the most common light artillery canon of the Civil War on both sides this version with the flared barrel end was the one used by the Union Army and was a reliable and devastating weapon at close range, the one used by the Confederates was usually parallel at the barrel end
