Another nice find on “The Streets of San Francisco”. I later found out the the car was up from LA for the day so I'm lucky I caught it.

An oldie but goodie. Yes, there are still some of these old beasts running around under their own power too. Not sure where they'd find any replacement parts these days. I've been removed from the automotive scene for too many years now to know after I sold my last race car. One of my late drag racing friends was a genius at keeping the older carbs and ignitions functioning for folks like these.

Carbs. Sigh. When I was in high school I helped a friend rebuild a '57 Bel Air. They don't build them like that any more.

Me and that Chebby are the same age, and it looks sorta like I feel.

Yep, kinda beat up lookin but still going strong.

Cool car. The Cubans are very good at keeping those old gals running. Nothing easier than rebuilding a carb and setting points. Sure beats all the computer stuff we have now.
