Cheviots#1

My first from the recent APUG gathering. My paper problems returned to haunt me while making this print. Those with a keen eye will see a verticle line just left of centre in the sky. Ho Hum. Another morning wasted.
I like how you are drawn into the picture. Makes me want to walk to the opening in that tree line there in the back...

Nice shot Stoo, I remember you talking about the two trees... its a fine image.

One quick suggestion though. I got a line in my images like this and I found it was the light diffusing box in the enlarger. I found a small scratch on the inside of the glass. I changed it and it disappeared.

The other thing was I also found a mark on one of the filters on my colour head... Could that be it?

Any more prints finished yet? - Mark

Trevor Crone suggested it - and he was right...

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

Mark, my problem has been an on going one, and definately a problem with the emulsion. I have had to work out where the problem was in my work flow, by way of a process of elimination. I leave the darkroom in the knowledge that I have a good print and when I go through the toning process, the problems begin. Thanks for your help though.
