Finally, back on my feet and getting through a ton of film that needs to be developed, printed and otherwise processed.
This one from this past spring is of the Cherry Blossoms blooming at the ruins of Shibata Castle. A couple of years ago, I made a similar one, but in BW, first attempt at color here.
Also this is my first time using Fuji 64T film. so far I like the results.
Any and all comments are welcome and greatly appreciated.
I like the scene as a photograph alone, but what I'm most impressed with is how you controlled the highlights. Great job both artistically and technically. Nice!

Wonderful image making! The castle just seems to float on the water, and in my humble opinion, the color rendition with the Fuji 64t is just right for this. A great decision to shoot this as a night scene; in the daytime, it would have been a good one, but maybe not as eye-catching as what you did achieve.
Thank you all for the very kind words. I had never used this film before this outing. I was very very worried about blowing the highlights, so I bracketed by 3/4 either way. Turns out I didnt need it, the first guess was right one. The film held the highlights much better than I would have suspected Its a really nice film though it has its share of detractors.
Honestly it looks way better at night, than it does during the day time. Only at sunset, is it better I think.
Again thanks for the kind words, they are greatly appreciated.
