Cheesy Cowboy

My husband the southern boy, making fun of his redneck alter ego. (He's normally a spiky-haired punk rocker.) I think he's maybe a little TOO convincing. ;)

We had a lot of fun, anyway. The more experience I get with the 4x5, the better. The lighting here is a mixture of window light and diffused modeling light for fill.

"Is that a dagger I see before me..." Wonderful and hilarious portrait, Cheryl. Playing dress-up is fun, even for adults. You are getting very skilled with the 4x5, by the way. Are you using the rangefinder?

J, LOL! Yeah, brings to mind the mingled smells of PBR and Skoal.

Thomas, thanks -- he was certainly having a good time. He's still "in character" three days later. This was made with a Press King 4x5, which is pretty much a knock-off of the Speed Graphic. I'm finally getting a bit more comfortable using a tripod.

Uhner, thanks! Bob will like hearing that.

Cheryl, the thing I regret the most when I sold my Crown Graphic was the loss of my 127mm Ektar. It is an amazing lens. Keep it until it falls apart, then repair and use again. It's awesome.
