J, LOL! Yeah, brings to mind the mingled smells of PBR and Skoal.

Thomas, thanks -- he was certainly having a good time. He's still "in character" three days later. This was made with a Press King 4x5, which is pretty much a knock-off of the Speed Graphic. I'm finally getting a bit more comfortable using a tripod.

Uhner, thanks! Bob will like hearing that.

the tripod thing is hard to get used to ..
but it looks like you are getting the hang of it

is that a tominon 4.7 ? i have the same lens, and love the look

Bill, when hell freezes over. LOL.

John, it's an Ektar 4.7. I do really like it, but I'll admit I've never used any other lens to compare it to. Hopefully I can add a few more lenses soon.

Cheryl, the thing I regret the most when I sold my Crown Graphic was the loss of my 127mm Ektar. It is an amazing lens. Keep it until it falls apart, then repair and use again. It's awesome.
