More from my ongoing Little Things series...
=/ my girlfriend and I were playing pool in an empty bar - couldn't resist the urge to set up and make this.
Keep it up, Shawn - you're gonna put Hermitage on the map! All rules are meant to be broken - dark tone with no detail works OK here. I've been printing with Ilford warmtone FB and toning with selenium a good deal lately. Really interesting (although not always beautiful) when it starts to show both greenish tones as well as purple brown after about 5 minutes in 1:9.
Thanks, fellows! Jon, I usually go the full tone route but this seemed to cry out for something different. =) As far as color, I develop in PF130 at 1:1 and selenium tone (KRST) at 1:100 for 3 minutes. No green or purple, just soft yellow brown. Hard to tell in a scan, especially this one. The following picture gives a pretty good idea of the color (if you have a calibrated monitor anyway...). http://www.apug.org/gallery1/showimage.php?i=59833&catid=member&imageuser=2279
