We were fortunate that day - we had the giant softbox in the sky of moderate overcast. It is the perfect light for photographing Charles, as he has the skin and features that are ill-suited to hard, directional light.

Yes, a very nice portrait. I don't know why but I really like the gate as a prop. (And I want that tie.)
