Chairs in Rome

I like it very much and think it can stand on it's own, divorced from it being "St. Peter's Sq". That being said, my having personal experiences with the place and many associated feelings know that it's hard for me to be objective.

As to composition and tonality: very good.

This is interesting. Fill those seats and the photograph is not nearly as compelling.

Great shot! I would contemplate cropping out the bottom two chairs (they are only partial) as they are distracting. Then, after that crop, the image is really powerful with a Orwellian 1984ish type feel to it. My 2-bits.

Wow! Thanks everyone. When I placed this picture in the critique gallery I wasn't so happy about it. I tought it was a little boring. But you told me I was wrong about that.
