Castlerigg Circle

Castlerigg Circle

We've had a little walk from the camping site about two miles from there and arrived at noon. I took some pictures with my Rolleiflex but it wasn't the best time for taking pictures. On top of that lots of people there. We decided to come back in late evening about sunset and bring the LF cam. Hopefully better light and no people. As we came back we had difficulties to park our car. Several buses and cars were already there with dozens of people buzzing about including a guy with a large drum, celebrating the sunset.

This is the straight print at grade 2.5 I am not very lucky about. I've done quite a bit with some dogging and burning and fiddling with the paper grade. The outcome is better as this print but impossible for me to scan (even worse than the last two). I don't know why, but when the contrasts get higher with some very light areas in the prints the scan tend to look somewhat brindle.
