Castle Lake,
galyons

Castle Lake,

Shot at dawn, fog and mists clearing. I'm bothered by the small rock just breaking the surface, mid lower quarter. I have cropped from 4x5 to approx 3.5 square.
Thoughts?

I see what you mean by that little rock. Looks like a smudge. (swatting flys with your prints?)
This would be a very good excuse... I mean... reason to go back and try again
Why a blue filter?

Thanks for the comment. I like the original shot, but probably too bleary-eyed to see the potential problem of the small rock. This shot was taken last October. I plan to be up in the area again late September or early October.

Blue filter was to hold the fog & mist.

Cheers,
Geary
