Carousels, Brighton

The pics here were all taken on the same evening a couple of months ago. It was just one of those periods of a few hours where the light was so glorious, I just saw pictures everywhere. My main motivation for heading to the beach was to take some photographs of the West Pier which, finally, will be torn down in the next few months. Despite living in Brighton for some 28 years, I'd never photographed it.

Ailsa, Great photograph. It's been a while since I've been to Brighton, and this brought back some memories of trips there. BTW, Forte paper can still be bought in some flavors from Freestyle photographic. I just opened a new 8x10 pack myself last night from an order I made a month or two back. they appear to have quite a bit of the semi matt stuff in quite a few sizes last time I looked. It is a run from the last batch Forte made, but could be an opportunity for you to stock up
