Hmm, "suboptimal" is usually a word I reserve for when I'm telling a client that something they do really stinks but I don't want to upset them too much...

I like the eyelash of the model being in perfect profile but i feel this model would have better and more interesting stories to tell than just laying around and vaguely looking behind her.

Also I suspect she's more colourful in real life which would mean this would be nicer in colour (gasp!)

She is indeed a very colourful person Heather, but the only colour photos we made were using, ahem, a different technology. She's also six months pregnant which makes many things just a bit more complex I like this photo anyway.

i can't stop looking at the 'do ..... but i very much like the lines and shapes that occur between the model's left hand and just beyond her bum (if i may be excused borrowing a bit of british) ......

Looking at the tattoo and 'do as Rich says, I reckon there is a close up needed here, she looks to be a very good subject.

BTW, I also like this shot, the lines are great. I suppose that this is what you are conveying in this photo.
