Carnevale 1

Inspired from my last trip to Venezia where I got this authentic Carnevale outfit from a mask workshop. She chose most of the poses. It was the first time to use my studio including the backgrounds and the strobes. I used an Elinchrom Style RX600 with an octagonal softbox, a silver-gold reflector and a black paper background.

Great job with the lighting Ari. This photograph is awesome. It contains both thrill and mystery not to mention how wonderful the tones look. Would love to see the print.

Very good picture and introduction to the series. I like the mystery and sense of anticipation.

Whoo...Very Nice! I'm thinking I like this one the "best" of the series...but I'm not sure why...maybe that "less means more" thing...

Thank you guys, considering they are my first tries with studio equipment, considering that I tried a difficult subject (black on black, nude, etc) and that the results were suprisingly good for me, your comments mean a lot. Print, what print? I used my Nikon D...nevermind!
