Nice effort and print. I have mixed feelings about how it is so centered, great handing of the perspective considering you were photographing with a 35mm. Also some of the images made by other members with 6x6 and 6x7 equipment lack the smoothness and sophistication this image has.
vpwphoto - thanks for your feedback.
Please tell me what you mean when you say 'centered'. The tower reaches from top to bottom on the left half of the frame, and the building attachment is in the bottom right hand corner. I don't get it.
Really nice treatment of the subject, Thomas. I've tried several times, and if it wasn't the light, then it was the perspective, and if it wasn't the perspective, then it was the tourists. Nicely done.
Thanks. The MT3 is a thiourea toner, where the 'vario' aspect refers to the variation you can get in color by mixing the chemistry differently.
The print color isn't exactly like the print. There is a green tone to it that I can't seem to work out prior to posting it online.
But the Moersch MT3 is a spectacular product, which allows you a whole array of print colors with a few simple adjustments. Lasts forever too.
