Canyon De Chelly #2, 2005

Canyon De Chelly #2, 2005

In an effort to focus more time on my Great River Road project, I have decided to switch my Print of the Month to a quarterly program. I will introduce a new print 4 times each year at a special price which I am now calling Special Edition prints. I'd like to extend a sincere "thank you" to everyone on APUG who has supported my work by purchasing these prints in the past. Many have told me they look forward to seeing these each month. I'm still here, just less often! Below is my first Special Edition photograph, made earlier this year at Canyon De Chelly. I recently put some new work on my Website. My work is also featued in the October issue of Focus Magazine. For more info, see me at: www.scottkillian.com

Excellent! Wow what an imense landscape! The shadows really work well as does the whole composition. Scott thanks for sharing, this super image!

Scott, interesting image and well executed. I'm curious about the finish on this print. It has a warm tone which I don't usually see in an azo print, but it could be my monitor. Which toner are you are using here? tim

This was made on old grade 2 which is quite warm. Toned in selenium, but the change in color is probably neglegable.

What did it look like on grade three? Could be the scan and the internet but it seems to lack some pop. Living thirty minutes from this exact shot I know it can be difficult to get good contrast, but it is possible.
