Candle Light

It took me about 1 hour to get this shot. Not very happy with it, please let me know what do you think and how to improve it. Thanks

It's a good effort, although I think that it could be improved by removing whatever is in the background and using a white card as a fill ( out of frame of course) behind the vase to the left.
Idea is great however, so give it another go.
 
I would also do something else with the background. Focus attention on the foreground elements. The spacial alignment of the two items is enough to make those 2 things against a black backdrop interesting.
 
Thanks for the suggestions. I will try a black background for sure.
Eric, I think the front object is too big and too far away from the flowers, what do you think?
