This little guy was sunning himself (herself?) on a small fishing dock. It was a bit leary of the camera until I let it sniff it and then petted her (him?)

They never let me get that close. Awfully nice portrait.
 
Nice, nice shot! I didn't know there were sea lions on Balboa Island. If you get that close to them in San Diego, the lifeguards yell at you.
