I just edited the film I used for this picture. I had it originally listed as using Rollie 400S.
When I first looked at this shot, I thought "boring and empty", but the more I looked into it, the more I fell mesmerized by it's tones and contrasts

EXACTLY! The whole point of this picture for me was tones, texture, contrast, and light. To me, it 'looks' like 'light painting'.
