Great set of images that you have put up, made my day. I keep going back and forth between the colour and B&W, and I think I prefer the colour here, which is odd because I usually prefer B&W!

I think the colour version appeals to me most. It is as if the subject matter should only be shot in colour.

I too prefer the colour version. The quality of the light that evening (about 10:30pm midsummer day) was just fantastic. I think it wouldn't have worked in B&W due to the lack of clouds, and vice versa, colour wouldn't have worked in the B&W version due to the cloud cover.
