Calla #1- cyanotype

First Cyanotype using my new light source.
Double coated and printed on Hot pressed Watercolour paper.

8sec @ f32
Film & Developer
Polaroid Type 55 neg
Paper & Developer
Watercolour (Hot pressed)
Looks good, I appreciate the amount of work that went into it. I could do with just a little more room over the top of the flower, as it looks a bit cramped.

Thanks. I am reasonably happy with it but I struggled with contrast as this is from a type 55 neg which is not the most contrasty of emulsions . I might try some of the known methods for increasing contast in the image itself but this was a test for the Philips lamp which I bought recently. Works great. Exposure was 21 mins

There is a bit more on the neg but I cropped it out with the type 55 header. Thanks for the comment

Phill,
I don't usually like cyanotype (I have made several of them myself but just can't connect) but do very much like this. I agree with the comment that more head room would improve the composition but the over all look and feel of the print is excellent.
