NICE, the only critique I can muster is that you could probably crop out the tree above the roof.

I can imagine this with some oil tint too - someday I'm going to try that myself. I've got some car negs around here somewhere that I took with that in mind ... years ago, oh well.

wow, that oof area is
just so beautiful ( the rest is too! )
i can just look at the driving wheel
and the chrome triangle where the roof meets
the body ... for a long time

great job thomas!

9 hours and 17 prints ...... A thread on 'Your longest darkroom session and how productive it was' springs to mind !!

Great image Thomas, as you say the grain and shine works really well this this. Be nice to see the print and its true colours.

A masterpiece Thomas. I love the graphic element and the lith just draws out those tones. Are you using a strong Lith solution here? My lith always seems to tend to brown...maybe the paper or the Rollei Vintage. Anyway...there is almost a selenium tone to this. K

Unbelievable,what a car,a photographer and a camera can do!

Thanks for the nice comments! This was on my second to last sheet of Forte Polygrade, so it's going to remain a unique print. For better or worse.

What a car. This is a beautiful print Thomas and I agree with your assertion that it has just the right amount of grain and shine. Forte Polygrade matt is a wonderful paper for all purposes.
