This is a tremendously good photograph, Graham. Well, i thought your reject photo was amazing, but this takes all that was good there and drives the subject home with an exceptional composition. The lighting/exposure is so cool, too. Glad you put this up here - love seeing it.

Graham, this one, I think, gives more than your last cactus shot. Pls. bear in mind I'm bias toward sharpness/clarity and not as fond of fuzzy/holga/pinhole.
I love the subject & composition - liked the last one that way also. Here, though, you seem to get alot more detail - and in shadow. The lumpy/sinuous leaf texture comes through well, with the needle highlights serving well for accent. Sure, I'd like to see it w/ a nasty sharp lens, but you have alot of great detail here. If you ever do this shot w/ a sharp lens, I've be all over it like a cheap suit.
