Butterfly House

Magic Wings Butterfly House at North Carolina Museum of Life & Science. I had to wait for the misters to fire up and lay down a heavy fog.

Very nice. I like the juxtaposition of the man-made structures, which are soft and light against the much more substantial plants in the foreground.

really great, what's a mister? in this context I'm not quite sure I'm understanding.

It's the system that atomizes water into the air to raise the humidity of the artificial rain forest. The thick hanging fine mist of water in the air lent itself to capturing the sunbeams more effectively.
