Thanks, Bruce. I learned the word 'clabbered' regarding this which means mottled in the way buttermilk looks.
 
Not my favorite of yours but perfectly handled. Never been a fan of cloud pictures per se, as I like them as accents. That being said, you came upon this, and as usual you nailed exactly the right amount of "non cloud" to accent the clouds further. I actually tried it cropped up from the bottom taking off the waves to further exaggerate the clouds and like it as well although it becomes a bit more abstract then. But then I don't think abstractions are really your thing. It's definitely other worldly and nice job on the handling of it.
 
Thanks for your thoughtful critique, Michael. The thing is that around here, if you don't embrace clouds, there's not much else to embrace! :wink:
 
Good one, and I love clouds and think they are often all that's needed if they are interesting. Alfred Steiglitz anyone?
 
Thanks, tony. Yes, Stieglitz...Equivalents. Those were quite imaginative. My clouds usually, but not always, have some sort of relationship with the ground.
