Fair enough: Whenever I go out with the Bronica, my wife says, "I see you brought the clang-clack camera". Loud? Absolutely.
 
@JWMster The old Bronica S2 series are the really loud ones- they're more like the "Pow-Socko!!!" cameras. You might get one good candid shot with it, but you won't get a second. But if you really want to scare the bejezus out of someone, try using a Koni-Omega. The mirror isn't what gets them - it's the film advance.There's a geared lever you pull that sounds like the cocking of a firearm.
