Bus and trunks Lakeview, New Orleans

This series is so striking... thanks for posting.

I was trying to think of where I had seen this kind of subject when I remembered. I took a train from Seattle to Los Angeles and saw this scene in hundreds of back yards visible only from the train tracks.

I remarked that within a half hour I had seen the discarded appliances from an entire house, junked in the back yards while traveling thourgh Oregon.

Again, my compliaments on an extremely well done series of photographs!

Great use of selective focus to convey the subject...in many ways reflective of how everyone reacted to this event...sharp focus on details, while the overall picture was left very blurry. As others have commented, outstanding series, a strong body of work.

This series is incredible. EVERY one evokes emotion. BRAVO!
