much better than what we mostly take which is the side the sun hits. working outside the box sometimes is very successful.

Light coming from window is a wonderful touch, which lightens the sameness of the backlighted side of the church.

Superb! A very high contrast scene expertly photographed. I really like it. Every time I see a great backlit photo I'm reminded of that stupid quote by Fred Picker "Avoid backlit scenes like the plague" I'm glad very few people took any notice of him.

Thanks for all the positive and encouraging comments guys.
I really wasn't convinced with this, but all your comments will push me to consider light a little differently and experiment with it more than I have been doing.
