Makes me think there are alot of compelling stories of which this is a part. 'Would love to see/hear more about the human part of the mines.

ER: The stories are pretty intense.
I'm anything but objective - I just love Andrew's work & the mine series delivers alot of impact to my sensibilities. 'Wish others would do similar projects & Andrew also. They're great. I don't see shots of the old masters that are better, but then they didn't often shoot anything industrial/historical, save for Margaret Burke-White. Its a most powerful telling of the stories.

Really nice work here Andrew - I like the grittiness of the wall contrasting with the smoothness of the wood. The minimalism here is very appealing.

Thank you so much for looking and commenting!
This link will take you to a street view on Google Maps showing the old apartment building, as well as the mine in behind it. It's all been tidied up since I photographed there. World Heritage designation as well which was great for the town. I loved it, especially another site about a kilometre down the line, when it was overrun with weeds.
