I'm instantly drawn to that interesting front wheel disc brake assembly. That on itself would make a good B&W.
 
Yeah in retrospect I kinda wanted to crawl all over that bike with a tripod, paramender, and bellows cranked out.
 
I'm pretty sure that's a vented drum brake on the front wheel there (not too terribly many cable-actuated discs around). Probably as effective as dragging your feet.Did you use the Vivitar 285 for fill flash here? I fail to see any signs of added light.
 
Yes, I did fire the flash. For walkabouts like this, I used very little fill flash, and if you can't even tell that it was used then I'm pleased. :smile:
 
Yep that is the later "air scoop" (my nikname for it) front drum brake.I had about 4 of these at various times in the early 80's and this looks like its right around a 1969-71 (im rusty).The newer built in air cleaner set up, gas tank and air scoop brake give it away.Unfortunately they went bust shortly after this was made and held on by merging with other Limeys but couldn't survive the Japanese onslaught.
