Love this photograph! Excellent portrait.
I'd say it lets us see through to their personality.
The one on the left seems to be the "cool" one, looking very relaxed. The brother standing up in his tense, up straight pose, looks quite the opposite. As if he has accepted the "mission" of keeping an eye on the younger one.
