Is that one of Reiny's lenses? In the early days of photography, when folks were using simple meniscus "landscape" lenses, they often stopped them way down and made long exposures. I'm thinking of making some smaller apertures for my Wollaston replica ( for 5x7), just to have that option, but I'm not sure yet... I've got another lens that stops down so maybe will save the meniscus for when I want some SF effect. Have fun w/ your giant camera!
