1:1 macro from the base of a fallen bristlecone pine. From Per Volquartz's Owens Valley workshop a few weeks ago. This is neg scan- still deciding how/whether to print it.

Thanks everyone, I am thinking that it is worth exploring in print. Thanks Gustavo for the suggestions. I am going to try some PtPd next and we'll see what that brings.

Jim you're not kidding about the wind, and this one is a bit soft, it won't go past a contact, for sure. Just glad that I had hp on me.
