Brill Windmill

This is the windmill in the village of Brill. I was putting the first roll of film through my new EOS 3 using Kodak BW 400 CN for quickness, I have to use a commercial darkroom, as I don't have room for one at home, and it's about 15 miles away. This was taken on late autum afternoon.

It's quite easy to develop 35mm film in either the kitchen or bathroom. It requires a changing bag (or light tight closet), a tank, and if you only want one roll at a time a Hewes Tundra reel (Stainless tank and reel). The chemicals (your choice but if you use tri-x or HP5 Ilfosol-S is good) developer, stop and fix. I found it to be dramatically cheaper for B&W after the first few rolls. It really does pay for itself once you've covered the cost of the tools. A darkroom is necessary to make prints. But being able to dev your own film makes working with B&W easier.
