I like this image. Have you considered cropping this to a panoramic and removing the dark stones in the upper portion from the composition? Either way the tones and scene are quite nice. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Mike and Donald. I've struggled a bit with where to crop the image. I might go the other way and place the river towards the top of the frame and provide more foreground- definitely more stylized and abstract that way.

Daniel, I think that you and I are seeing this the same way. My description was probably discombobulated.

Daniel: have you looked at this print upside down? It could work either way (although my iMac does NOT like being inverted!!!!
