Summer in Jersey means trips to the shore. For grandmas it can be the joyous experience of watching (from under the shade of a beach umbrella) the grandchilden play. Building sandcastles that last until the next wave arrives, doing hand stands on the sand, riding their boogie boards in the surf, the sounds of their laughter echo through long winter nights ahead.
