Boy Clown, 1978

The Hoxie Brothers' Circus was setting up in a field. I was addicted to thin black borders in those days. (George Tice suggested I reprint without them, and I found it cleaner looking.)

I like this early work, alot (and I do like thin black borders but to each their own!)
 
Thank you. Every so often, I make a print with black borders, even large format. I've never completely driven it from my psyche.
