It's a little slice of family life as it was on Boxing Day '01. It was just meant to be nothing more than a record of the day, but it turned out to be the last image I had of Jim (in the foreground). He died three years later, on Boxing Day.

Good use of depth of field and I like the way you've framed people with architectural elements.
 
Superb DoF, capturing the detail and reflections in the bottle and glasses and little boy. Yet the adults still have their due weight in the shot. Very well balanced.
