Lots of things I like about this. The mixture of sharpness and soft - the curve in the ladder and the glow around the heavy rope in the centre.

Reminds me of my time working as a fisherman, many moons ago !

Thanks for your kind comments, this was my favourite image too for the reasons Bill mentions. Am gonna have to work on my scanning cos the print has got a luvly deep plum tone to it that just hasn't come over. Am very pleased with the real thing tho.
